DIRECTIONS FOR MEASURING SCREENS

  1. Locate a screen from an actual opening that fits properly. Never measure a screen that is in a storage area.
  2. Measure the width and the length of the screen to the 1/16th of an inch.
  3. Measure the thickness of the screen frame.
    It will be one of the following: 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", 7/16"
    This measurement is very important - make sure it is checked carefully.
  4. Determine if the screen frame is Mill (aluminum color), White, or Bronze (dark brown).
  5. Determine from the pictures on page 8 what type of hardware is on your screen.
